Skeletons Anyone?

Have there been mysteries in your life?

Like what really happened to Aunt Mabel or was there someone who seemed to disappear for no reason -- or for that matter someone who seemed to mysteriously appear on the scene? Or do you know someone with a seemingly mysterious ability?

There are all kinds of mysteries around us every day of course. Many that we hardly even regard as mysteries. Why does gravity work? How does my body know it's tome to get up? What makes something beautiful?

So this week write a poem about mystery. You might even make up a good mystery tale and of course an answer to the mystery is not required!

Post your efforts on your blog and link using Mr. Linky. And of course please take time to read what others have written and posted.

  1. If you wish others to visit your blog, please visit other people's blogs as well. It is only fair. Those of you who post links and don't ever visit others' blogs cannot expect the hosts will visit. If someone is kind enough to visit your blog, please make a return visit. Happy writing. Peggy and I look forward to seeing what you come up with for this prompt.

  8. This one should make for great reading. I reworked an older poem... a mystery or family secret that I still to this day ponder...

  13. Better late than never! Not exactly a great mystery of the universe, but a mystery nevertheless (and probably a skeleton waiting to happen!)

  16. Charmaine, if you have a specific poem to link, please use the "Mr. Linky." You have just posted the link to your blog, which is interesting, but truly I didn't anything that related to 'mystery' or 'skeleton.' So there was nothing for me to comment on in this regard.
